Expected putts for a 5 handicap male golfer by first putt distance. Distances between rows are interpolated in a straight line; 90 ft and beyond use the 90 ft value. The PGA Tour column is from Mark Broadie\u2019s published ShotLink research. The 5 handicap column is a group estimate: close to Tour inside 10 ft, a gap of about a sixth of a putt through the mid range, and a larger gap on long putts where three-putts rise. It can be revised as the group\u2019s own make percentages build up.
